To update, back up WHMCS, replace the module files with the new version's, then open Whop Payments under Payment Gateways and click Save Changes. Your invoices, saved cards and Whop connection stay in place. The download page has the current version and the full update steps.
Version 1.1.0
Added
- Whop Payments: a line under the card fields tells the customer the card will be saved and names your WHMCS Company Name as the business that may charge it for future invoices.
- Save a card: the same notice, plus a Billing Address section. The customer picks their WHMCS profile, another saved address, or a new one, which is added to their WHMCS contacts, and the saved card is linked to it.
- Save a card: when the card is already saved, the page says its billing address was not changed and points to Payment Methods to edit it.
Improved
- The card payment and Save a card pages now fit their content inside WHMCS, so the whole page scrolls instead of a small box.
- The payment page shows separate Make Payment and invoice cards, like WHMCS's own layout, and stacks them on narrow screens. Whop Checkout's page uses the same two cards.
- Bank verification (3D Secure) opens where the customer is looking on long pages.
- Card number, expiry and security code fields have square corners, so the boxes meet cleanly.
Fixed
- Names, addresses and invoice lines containing characters such as
&or'(for exampleO'Brien & Co) now display correctly in the billing address lists and reach Whop as written, instead of as HTML codes. - Entering an address that is already saved no longer creates a duplicate
WHMCS contact, including a state typed as a name (
California) when it is saved as a code (CA). - A new billing address can no longer contain
<or>.
